The Central New York Composite Sharks is more than a mountain bike teamβit's a community built around adventure, confidence, friendship, and a love of riding bikes.
Whether you're a first-time trail rider, an aspiring racer, or just looking for a fun way to spend time outdoors, there's a place for you here.
NICA New York is transitioning to a fall-only race season beginning in 2028. To support this transition, the league will operate a unique split-season format in 2027 before fully moving to fall racing.
As details are finalized by the league, we'll continue to share updates with our Sharks families. For more information, please visit here.Β
While race schedules may evolve, one thing won't change: we'll continue helping riders build confidence, skills, friendships, and a lifelong love of cycling.
Our season planning begins each winter with coach training, team registration, and program development. Once the snow melts and trails are ready, the Sharks hit the dirt.
